Introducing Zelle – a fast, safe and easy way to send money in minutes* to your friends and family, right from the Rhinebeck Bank mobile app. When you use Rhinebeck Bank mobile banking app, Zelle is already available on your phone. Zelle makes it easy to send or receive money from people you trust – no matter where they bank**.
Select a contact or type in the U.S. mobile number or email address of the person you’d like to send money. Remember to only send money to people you know and trust. Enter the amount you’d like to send and, if you want, add a note. Tap send and you’re done.
Send your friend a request and a way to pay you back directly with Zelle. Just enter their U.S. mobile number or email address, the amount they owe you, and hit send.*** When they respond, the money will move directly into your Rhinebeck Bank account.
Zelle makes it easy to quickly split the bill with a built-in calculator. Just tap the ‘split’ button, select the people in your group and enter the total amount you want to split. Zelle sends a request to everyone for their share.***

To get started:
1. Log in to Rhinebeck Bank Online Banking and add Text Banking through the “Mobile Management” page
2. Enroll your mobile phone using your phone number and you will receive an Activation Code
3. You’ll receive a text message from 49794 (Rhinebeck Bank’s short code)
4. Reply to that text message with the activation code you received
5. You’re all set! Use the text commands below to get the information you need.
