Bill Payment Disclosure

Our online bill pay service enables you to set up recurring payments, make one time payments and track your payments to individual payees. No need to write checks and place them in the mail. You can pay bills from your home or office 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 

Bill Pay is offered free to Priority Direct, Priority Select and Priority Elite Checking Accounts. A low monthly fee applies to Basic Banking, Priority Classic, Senior Checking, Small Business and Community Checking. Bill pay is not available for our commercial checking accounts. Please refer to our current fee schedule for the most current bill pay monthly charge.

Fees will be automatically deducted from your checking account at the beginning of each month. This same account will be used to make the payments you initiate to your payees.

Electronic bill payment authorization:

I AUTHORIZE Rhinebeck Bank to post payment transactions generated online banking from the bill pay service to the account indicated on the request generated electronically. I understand that I am in full control of my account. If at any time I decide to discontinue service, I will provide written notification to Rhinebeck Bank. My use of the bill pay service signifies that I have read the terms and conditions of the electronic bill payment disclosure which has been provided to me electronically by Rhinebeck Bank.

I UNDERSTAND that payments to, or at the direction of, government agencies, organizations and institutions, and payments made in response to a court-directed payment plan are prohibited and may be blocked by FIS. This includes, but is not limited to, payments to the IRS or for child/spousal support.

I UNDERSTAND that payments may take up to five (5) business days from the processing date to reach the designated payee and that they will be sent either electronically or by check. Rhinebeck Bank is not liable for any service fees or late charges levied against me.

I UNDERSTAND that I am responsible for any loss or penalty ($) that I may incur due to the lack of sufficient funds or other conditions that may prevent the withdrawal of funds from my account. By clicking "OK", I agree to these terms, and the terms of the electronic bill payment disclosure.
